In the Bible, the Lord God sent two bears to kill and rip to pieces 42 little children because they mocked the Prophet Elisha.
In the Quran, Allah did not kill hundreds of adult disbelievers who mocked the Prophet Muhammad.
In the Bible, God destroyed 42 little children because they mocked Elisha; they said unto him, Go up, thou bald head.
In the commentaries on this occasion, John Gill’s Exposition of the Bible says:
1- And he (Elisha) turned back, and looked on them
With a stern countenance, thereby reproving them, and in order to intimidate them, and make them ashamed, and cause them to leave off, but to no purpose; they repeated their mockeries with great vehemence:
2- And cursed them in the name of the Lord;
Moved thereunto, not from passion and a spirit of revenge, but by an impulse of the Spirit of God:
3- And there came forth two she bears out of the wood;
Which are fiercest, and especially when bereaved of their whelps, as these might be; the wood seems to be near to Bethel, though the Jews, to increase the miracle, say there was no wood at all, and, if there was, that there were no bears in it.
4- And tare forty and two children of them;
It seems there were more than these; but such a number of them they tore to pieces and destroyed; which was very extraordinary, and was an awful punishment for their wickedness, which they knowingly and willingly committed.
Conclusion: this awful deadly punishment of 42 little children does not go with the essential Idiom that “God is Love”.

In the first 5-7 years of prophethood, hundreds of the ignorant Arabs mocked the Prophet Muhammad severely. They were forming the Arabs’ media at that time; they used to say (the same as the western media today do) that Muhammad is a mad man, he is soccer; and the Quran is fabricated and it is a manifest lie. Nevertheless, Allah, unlike the Biblical God, did not kill those ignorant disbelievers in the life of this world but He told them what will be their outcome in the Hereafter.
In the Quran, (verses 37:11-26) Allah discloses the unseen and told the disbelievers who mocked the Prophet Muhammad how they will be at the Day of Judgment.
The meanings of Verses 37:11-26:
- Then ask them, O Muhammad: Are they stronger as a creation or those other creatures which Allah has created) of angels, jinn, heavens, stars, planets etc.?
Lo! Allah created man of sticking viscous clay.
The meaning is that their physical make-up is fragile so let them not behave arrogantly by rejecting the Prophet and the Quran, a Idiom which will result in their easily accomplished destruction.
- Nay, but you (O Muhammad) marvel that they deny you, while they engage in ridicule and mock you.
- And when they are reminded, when they are admonished with the Quran, they are not mindful; they do not heed the admonition,
- And when they see a sign, they make it an object of ridicule, they mock it.
- And they say, regarding the Quran: ‘This is mere magic, a manifest lie;
and they say in denial of the Resurrection —
- When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we indeed be resurrected?
Say to them, O Muhammad: indeed you shall.
- They asked: And our forefathers shall they will be raised also?
- Say O Muhammad: ‘Yes, you will be resurrected, and you will be brought utterly abased and humiliated!’
- For it will be one Shout, one single blow, which is the blowing of the Resurrection and, lo! They, all human beings, emerge from the graves, alive, looking for what will be done with them.
- And the disbelievers, will say, ‘O woe to us!’
And the angels will say to them: ‘This is the Day of Retribution’, the Day of Reckoning and Requital.
- ‘This is the Day of Judgment, between you and the believers, which you used to deny in the life of this world.
- Allah would then say to the angels: ‘Assemble those who did wrong, those who associated partners or son (s) with Allah, to their own souls through idolatry, together with their mates, their associates from among the devils, and what they used to worship besides Allah, and lead them, to the path of Hell, the way to the Fire.
- Allah would also say to the angels: And stop them, detain them on the path, for they must be questioned, about all their sayings and deeds, and it will be said to them in rebuke.
It is also said that this means: they will be questioned about their rejection of “there is no deity except Allah”.
- And it will be said to them: “What is wrong with you that you do not help one another?”, as was the case with you in this world. And it will be said to them:
How is it that you do not save yourselves from Allah’s chastisement, or help one another to avoid Allah’s chastisement?
- Nay, but today they make full submission; they are compliant, abased because they knew that the Truth is with Allah.

19) Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see!

Angels are generally most closely associated with Christianity, despite their origins in much earlier belief systems and cultures. Nevertheless, the angel has been important to the Christian faith since its conception, and there are almost 300 references to angels in the Bible in some 280 different verses, making it very much a feature of the religion.
While the exact nature and status of the angel in Christianity is far from settled, it is appreciated as a critical part of the Bible and the Christian faith. Likewise, angels are present in most other religions and play a part in somewhat more diverse faiths and individual beliefs.
Angels in The Bible
The concept of guardian angels, or angels sent down from heaven to look over the individual and prevent harm, is one that can be found throughout the Bible, particularly in the Old Testament –
“See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my father in heaven” (Matthew 18:10).
There are no specifics in the Bible about the hierarchy of angels or how they would function at a practical level. Indeed, there is an assumption (but no real definition) that they would act with a particular individual, and would be assigned the ‘mission’ of protecting that person from sin and deviance.
Angels in Theology
Angels, and in particular guardian angels, were expounded heavily by fifth century theologian Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite, and have developed significantly since then. Naturally the extent of their existence and their purpose has been fiercely argued and debated among academics, with some schools suggesting guardian angels are a reflection of the self, with others proposing more radical, behavior-based links to the spirits.
Angels in Other Religions
Angels are not a purely Christian phenomenon. Almost all other world religions have angels in some form as part of their belief systems, from Islam to Judaism to Hinduism to Bahai. Often the depiction of the angel is one of a messenger or savior sent from God to interact with mankind, and this concept is almost uniformly applied throughout the religions despite other differences in the position played by the angel within those belief systems.
Angels in Society
Whether or not angels are an important feature of religion and faith, they are certainly important to the growing number of individuals worldwide who claim to have experienced their input and guidance. Among those reporting encounters with angels are an eclectic mix of cultures and beliefs, including those previously skeptical about the existence of angels and spirituality generally.

Our angels communicate with us in so many ways!
Have you ever seen a glint of light in the corner of your eye? Felt a sudden sense of love and peace during a moment of sadness? Found a feather in an unlikely location? Felt an overwhelming sense of love when you least expected it (but neede it most?)
Our angels reach out to us in many different ways. Their purpose is to guide us through life by offering their love, guidance and comfort when we need it most.
It’s when we’re living through our most difficult moments that the angels draw ever closer to us to surround us with their divine presence, gently and lovingly diffusing the fear and negativity around us.
Because we’re so overwhelmed with the responsibilities of our physical lives, most people are unaware of the messages of the angels.
Take a quiet moment each day to ask your angels to communicate with you in some way. You’ll be surprised at the response you’ll get. They’re listening to you and are eager to respond to your request.
Pennies and feathers seem to be a favorite of the angels. They love to leave little items around for us to find. It’s their way of saying “we’re here for you.”
You may feel a light touch on your cheek, or hear the rustle of feathers, or perhaps feel a slight breeze out of nowhere. Most people see a light out of the corner of their eye.
It’s important to remember that our angels can’t help us unless we specifically ask for their assistance. Ask your angels for help in every area of your life and they’ll respond before you’re finished asking!

Our angels are assigned to us for protection, guidance and love. Even in our loneliest moments, we’re never alone. All we have to do is call on our angels for guidance in every area of our life.
Your angels are just as excited to communicate with you as you are with them, and there’s a very simple technique that you can use to communicate.
Automatic writing has been around for centuries. People have used it to speak with their guides, angels and loved ones in spirit.
It doesn’t require you to do anything unusual. Simply sitting in a comfortable position with a pen and paper is all you need. If you’re like me and want to bring through messages quicker, you can use a computer keyboard.
Now, there are two types of writing when communicating with your angels. There is “automatic writing” and “automatic dictation”.
When you’re automatic writing, you’re not aware of what’s being written. You feel a sort of floating sensation, as thought you’re floating above your keyboard.
With automatic dictation, you’re fully aware of every word you’re writing and the information comes to you either in your mind’s eye (clairvoyance), by hearing it (clairaudience) or by knowing it (claircognizance).
The whole process of automatic writing is really very simple….don’t complicate it by allowing your mind to analyze whether or not it’s you or your angels.
Most people think the process is going to be hard and that they’re not “qualified” to communicate with their angels in this way. Humbug!
I assure you, you’re very qualified to communicate with your angels!
Before you begin, it’s a great idea to have a journal that you can keep solely for your communications with your angels. As your conversations with them progress, you’ll be able to refer back to your increasing progress and read all the messages you received.
You don’t need to make this a ritual with candles, incense or other types of paraphernalia. You can certainly use them if you like, but they’re not required. All you need is your willingness to let your angels “in” no matter where you are.
Here we go:
Find a comfy spot to sit and relax. It can be on the floor or in your favorite chair, or sitting up in bed.
Take several deep refreshing breaths and allow your body to relax.
Say a short prayer to elevate your energy and call in your angels such as:
“Dear God:
Please help me to hear your messages clearly through your loving angels.
Allow me to be healed in my areas of greatest need and to learn more about your truth, love and joy.”
As you begin, asking a question will help your angels communicate with you. They can’t answer you unless you ask!
“Dear Angels, what would you like to teach me today?”
“Dear Angels, can you please tell me about my strengths?”
Remember to relax and breathe. Open yourself up to your angels‘ energy so you’ll be in an active, receptive place.
Begin writing anything and everything that comes to mind. You may hear a single word or a sentence. You may see an image or picture in your mind. You may get a sense of knowing.
It doesn’t matter how it comes to you, simple write it all down. Don’t allow your mind to start analyzing what’s being written.
Don’t analyze, organize or judge, just write!
Ask your angels their names. You may hear, see or know the answer. Write down the very first thing you get. Ask them whatever question you would like the answer to.
Note:
As you write, are you aware of what’s being written? Do you feel a floating sensation as you write?
You’ll receive your message easily but don’t stop to question it or talk yourself out of an accurate angel communication. Our minds want nothing more than to be in control of every situation, including automatic writing.
Don’t allow doubt to take away from your session. Simply acknowledge any feelings that arise, then push them aside.
When communicating with your angels, you messages will be positive, helpful and loving. Angels give with love and truth. If you receive a message that is not joyful and loving, you may have picked up on an energy that is not angelic. Simply ask your angels to remove that energy and show it to the light, then call in your angels for communication.
What you receive is what the angels want to tell you.
It may be simple or complicated, but trust what is given to you. Automatic writing and automatic dictation are not a science. They’re both simple processes that opens you up to receive communication from your angels.
It’s important not to ask your angels about other people as the angels don’t engage in psychic gossip. You are their primary concern.
Once the messages slow down and you’re not receiving anything more, thank your angels for their time.
Remember to journal your communications and as you progress with your automatic writing, your communication with your angels will strengthen and your messages will become longer and more detailed.

They respond to our call before we even finish asking. They inspire us when answers seem out of reach, they encourage us when we can’t take the next step and they love us even when we don’t love ourselves.
Most people live their lives totally unaware that they have a wonderful spiritual support system at their disposal at a moment’s notice.
Each person has at least two angels, without exception.
They are by our side from the moment we are born until we go home.
Because we have free will, our angels can’t help us unless we ask for them. We can’t assume that our angels will come to our aid on a moment’s notice without calling for them. If they did, they’d violate our free will.
It’s important to remember to ask your angels for help in every area of your life.
The more you call on your angels, the stronger your connection with them will become. You can ask them to leave signs that they’re around. You’ll find objects such as pennies, feathers or even a flower. Pennies seem to be a big hit with the spiritual world.
If you do find pennies, be sure to take a look at the date, which may be a birthday or anniversary.
You can call as many angels as you’d like to come to you, there is no limit. Simply say “Angels, come to me now” and they’ll be by your side before you finish asking.
Take a quiet moment to yourself, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Then call your angels to your side. You may feel a light breeze, hear a rustle of feathers or perhaps feel a light brush on your cheek.
Always remember to ask your angels for help – that’s why they’re there!

“What color is an angel?”
I looked up from the book I was reading to see my 7-year-old granddaughter with a large box of crayons spread out on the floor above a coloring book.
“Is it a boy angel or a girl angel?” I asked. “A boy,” she responded. “Then use a light blue crayon,” I concluded and went back to my book.
However, since then I’ve been thinking about how a simple question by a yet unpolluted child can’t always be answered so simply. How many colors do angels have? How many kinds of angels can you name?
My thoughts returned to my own experience. I’d been visited for some time by a unique, specialized angel. “Mark Angeli!” he called himself. Mark seemed to appear in my life as I was facing a problem or needed to move to the next level in my business.
Service businesses like mine, Vibrant Carpet Cleaners, can be one-man shows or can expand by adding more vans and technicians. Every change brings its challenges.
To this day, I don’t know why but whenever I got in a pickle, my angelic messenger would show up and give me timely instruction. Mark always wore a clean sharp blue business suit. If I were coloring him, it would be dark blue.
The kinds of angels that appear in a cloud and speak with a voice of thunder get colored bright white.
Since we rarely see a guardian angel, I guess they shall remain colorless. Think of the things they do for us. Invisible hands extracted a man from a mashed car that rolled off the highway.
Drowning people tell us that someone pulled them from the lake, saw to their comfort and then disappeared. A little girl playing, in the front yard, pedals her tricycle into the driveway and is picked up tricycle and all — out of the path of dad’s backing car. Sometimes a guardian angel will simply whisper in your ear about what you should say or do in difficult or challenging situations.
Then there are angels in disguise and/or are actually human. Their colors are warm because they bring comfort and protect.
Red is reserved for the angels that should be lost and forgotten. These are the Devil’s angels. They promote evil in actions and in word. If “conflict” is their middle name, then destruction is their last name. They inspire men to do evil and find glory in the results.
“And our spirits must have become like unto him, and we become devils, angels to a devil, to be shut out from the presence of our God, and to remain with the father of lies, in misery, like unto himself; yea, to that being who beguiled our first parents, who transformeth himself nigh unto an angel of light, and stirreth up the children of men unto secret combinations of murder and all manner of secret works of darkness.” 2 Nephi 9:9
One color we won’t find in any crayon box is action. When an angel shows up some kind of action needs to follow.
An angel told one man to move his trailer in the night. His wife and kids were sleeping in it. He moved it. In the morning, he saw that a huge tree had fallen right on the spot from where the trailer had once been.
An angel saved my own brother. My brother Mikie, used to take naps, while the rest of us played in the park in Ojai, CA, in the back of a Volkswagon station wagon. We always parked in the same spot. Upon responding to a “prompting” mother removed him from the car.
A short time later, we heard a large, crashing sound. When we went to see what caused it, we discovered that our car flattened its entire length to wheel height by an ancient oak tree. Mom moved Mikie to preserve his life. Today he’s a registered nurse. Wouldn’t you guess? he’s an angel of sorts, himself.
“Yea, and I know that good and evil have come before all men; he that knoweth not good from evil is blameless; but he that knoweth good and evil, to him it is given according to his desires, whether he desireth good or evil, life or death, joy or remorse of conscience. Now, seeing that I know these things, why should I desire more than to perform the work to which I have been called?
“Why should I desire that I were an angel that I could speak unto all the ends of the earth? For behold, the Lord doth grant unto all nations, of their own nation and tongue, to teach his word, yea, in wisdom, all that he seeth fit that they should have; therefore we see that the Lord doth counsel in wisdom, according to that which is just and true.” Alma 29:5-8
Angels are all around us. The eye of the soul can be open to see spiritual things, as virtues and angels. Our only requirement is to believe and we can see them; they often exist as mortal living breathing people, or as those who have had mortal experience and passed on, or as heavenly beings who have not yet tasted mortality.
There is no requirement to have angelic ministrations. We need not fear them. A chat with an angel is a good thing!
