The current oil spill disaster involved the precarious use of technology without the better use of available redundancy if and when something major goes wrong.
The spreading spill is showing how environmental damage can be all encompassing to the water, seaways, possibly the land and air with strong uncontrollable and uncontained elements.
There is a sense of despair and hopelessness that the spill is still ongoing and clean up efforts will not be effective enough with containing and removing the damaging effects of the spreading oil spill now and into the far future
There is however, an understanding that there is another layer of reality, above and beyond what is seen in the natural and material world, yet having the power and ability to fully manifest in it and move powerfully within it.
While the oil spill is a man made disaster, with the use of new technology gone amok, and with the use of advanced techniques being applied without proper precautions, and an outlook involving a real practical sense of overconfidence that can underlie so many of these modern disasters, there are many previously uninvolved bystanders to this process that are now dealing with the fuller forces of the damage to long standing personal interests including outright livelihoods and ways of living that involved the seas and seaside businesses.
There is a particular set of verses in the Book of Revelation that is revealing of how this damage can be quickly reversed and contained outside of conventional means
From the New King James version of the Bible in Chapter 7 of the book of Revelation string with verse 1 going through verse 3 it says::
20 After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. 24 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, %%2829%% saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
While throughout history there have been many interpretations given to the book of Revelation and it is difficult to interpret in many of its parts, these verses can be looked at with quick accuracy as to the power given to 4 angels to affect the seas in any possible way and in any possible direction as represented by the 4 winds which cover North, South, East and West meaning any possible way that things could go.
In verse 1 these four angels are giving power over the seas. This is towards possible destruction in the realms of judgment in this section of the Book of Revelation.
But the power of angels would go in all possible directions, the four angels; a handful of angels really, would have enough power to control everything about the seas.
While prudence dictates every possible available and known effective action towards fixing the oil spill should be applied with immediacy to the maximum, it is necessary now to call upon the powerful angels of the Lord to avert, contain and totally reverse the effects of this still unfolding disaster.
It would not take many angels to do the job, maybe 7 would be the perfect number now.
This is not wistful thinking, but goes into the understanding that there is another layer of reality wherein the power of particular angels is greater than all the aspects of the oil spill and it is proper and necessary that they are called for through the efforts of prayer to clean up the oil spill as they can do this totally.
This is the way of hope for those who are despairing of things ever turning back to the way things were days prior to the insidious approach and onslaught of the oil spill,
These special verses from the Book of Revelation support the evidence of the great power of angels to do this, through the reach of the prayers of the saints of the Lord.

Some of Michelangelo’s best known works may bear hidden messages suggesting that the human brain is among God’s greatest creations, scientists say. FASTING is regarded as a faith-enhancing act in the life of a Christian, but the residents of Katete District in Eastern Province are now beginning to question the true value of the practice after one of their own renowned evangelists died after fasting for 40 days and 40 nights.
Canaan Mwanza, 38, a well-known evangelist with the Charismatic Movement in Katete, agonisingly gave up his breath just days after completing his period of fasting.
His mother, Avaida Mwanza, was at pains to narrate the ordeal to this writer after the counsel of several friends, relatives and the general public – most of whom convinced her that she should not talk about the incident, saying it was an act of God.
But after much persuasion, and with the help of her husband, Godrick Mwanza, she was able to open up. And Canaan’s tale of his prayer and fasting-based life unfolds like this:
Some time in 2007, Canaan, a teacher in Mfuwe District, did what Christians call light fasting – abstaining from food and water from morning till 18:30 hours for 40 days as a way of strengthening his faith, much to the amusement of fellow believers and friends.
A known family prayer warrior, Canaan followed this act a year later with a total fasting for 28 days in some hills of Mfuwe area where, according to his mother, he encountered dangerous beasts which, however, did not harm him in any way.
The mother puts his safety during the Mfuwe fasting down to divine protection!
“He was there for 28 days, without eating and bathing. He met animals such as leopards and lions, which just stared at him, without harming him As you may be aware, that area (Mfuwe) is a game reserve area,” she says.
Upon his return and subsequent recovery from the 28-day fast, he was said to have gone flat out praying for people with different ailments and those who were demon-possessed.
With that somewhat strengthened and renewed faith, Canaan decided to take yet another challenging step of faith in his quest for an enhanced spiritual life.
He decided to embark on a programme to travel by road to Nigeria, with intention to go and have a face-to-face meeting with global renowned tele-evangelist, Prophet TB Joshua, who is also said to have fasted for 40 days and 40 nights before establishing his ministry – the Synagogue Church of All Nations and Emmanuel TV station.
Though it took him a lot of time to reach Nigeria, Canaan never got the chance to meet the Man of God for he (TB Joshua) always had a long-winding queue of people from all over the world with appointments to meet him.
And Canaan was surely not among the thousands who had applied from around the world.
“We became worried as a family such that we resorted to prayer because we did not hear from him for over the three weeks while he had travelled to Nigeria,” the mother recalls.
Later, the Mwanzas got to hear from Canaan who assured them of his safety, and informed them that his mission to meet the Prophet of God had failed.
Canaan headed back home, but is said to have never regretted the fact that he never got to meet TB Joshua.
Instead, people who were close to him say he believed strongly that God had a purpose for not enabling him to meet the prophet.
On April 22, 2010, Canaan decided to go for yet another total fasting for 40 days and nights on Mphangwe Hills in Katete.
Initially, fellow believers accompanied him on his last prayer and fasting mission that would later lead to his death.
But confronted with the “cares of this life”, just after the first two days, his fellow believers backed-off, leaving the spiritual man to continue with the fast alone.
Canaan was determined to spend 40 days and 40 nights on the hills. During the period, he ate nothing, drank nothing, not even water, and never took a bath.
The only thing he would ask from those who would visit him was for them to go and re-charge his mobile phone, which he was using to communicate with family and friends.
“What a strong faith!” many people admired him.
Like Jesus Christ, the pillar of the Christian faith, who fasted for 40 days and 40 nights before embarking on his earthly ministry, Canaan also finished his fasting, though with varied results from those of Christ.
While Jesus Christ went on to establish a ministry whose faith still saves and gives life to those who call on His name even today – over 2,000 years after his death – Canaan never got to establish any ministry.
Two days before he finished his fast, the people who went to visit him (the sister and brother-in-law) reported to have found him too weak to do anything. But defiantly, he refused to break his fast, determined to finish the 40 days.
He told them that although his body was weak, his spirit was stronger than ever. And so, they left him to finish despite their worry.
Afterwards, the father accompanied by his fellow charismatic friends, went to get him down from the hills, as he was too weak to come down on his own.
When they reached home, Canaan’s mother put him on a light diet of porridge to help him regain his strength gradually.
But five days later, the man started hallucinating. Suggestions that he be taken to the hospital were shot down by some of his fellow believers who said the hallucinations were a sign that he was seeing God and having conversation with the Creator.
Convinced, the family left Canaan to recuperate from home, away from the healthcare workers who are trained to preserve lives!
But one Friday afternoon, which Ms Mwanza reckons she will live to remember, her son died right before her eyes.
“When I went to his room to give him some food, I just saw him stretch up and that was it. I thought he was sleeping but when I called his name three times and without response, I touched him and realised that he had died,” she sobbed.
The death of Canaan has been received with mixed feelings in Katete with many people blaming the family for not taking him to the hospital.
But on the other side, Canaan’s family is convinced that his death came at an appointed time, which was foretold.
“We found a piece of cloth in his room written ‘Friday’ (the day he died) and we don’t know where it came from It is all from God and must be treated as such,” the family believes.
A large, framed and captioned portrait of the smiling Canaan Mwanza still hangs just above the door in the Mwanzas’ house as a remembrance to their hero of faith, whose death is now causing some to begin questioning the true value of prayer and fasting.

Of the many beings created by God, the angels are of special importance. They have been invested by God with the supernatural power to keep order in the functioning of the universe. They do not, however, deviate in the slightest from the path of God, for all their functioning is in complete obedience to His will. Diverse and numerous events are taking place at every moment in the universe, for instance, the movement of the stars, the shining of the sun and moon, the falling of the rain, the alternation of the seasons, and so on. All of these, and many other continually recurring events are attended to by the angels. Working in the universe as extremely faithful and obedient servants of God, they ensure the continued existence of the human and animal species on earth.
As well as running the world’s systems, these angels, a numerous band, take charge of all matters in heaven and hell. The role of the angels can be understood by the example of a large factory. In any such factory, there are many big and complex machines which produce the goods for which the factory has been established. But these machines do not run on their own. To facilitate their smooth running many human hands are required. Therefore, in every factory there are always a number of people whose duty it is to attend constantly to their proper and efficient functioning. Similarly, countless angels are appointed to ensure the proper functioning of the great factory of the universe.
The difference between the two factories is only that in the material one, the human hands are visible, while in the metaphorical one—the great mechanism of the universe—the angels remain invisible to the naked eye. Man may not be able to see the angels, but the angels can certainly see man, and keep a watch on him on behalf of God. It is these very angels who take man’s soul away after death.

My Dancing Moon and Proof of the Fatima Dancing Sun Miracle
My Mother Mary (Abundance) Forecast along with Pope Benedict visiting Fatima (during May 12-13, 2010) moved me to re study the Fatima miracle. I wholeheartedly believe this event occurred as I’ve witnessed similar events.
I will review the “Dancing Sun” incident, and list the physical evidence I have video taped or photographed similar miracles. I will also re-iterate why the words of God’s Prophetess or Prophet should never be controlled, challenged, changed or with-held.
Everyone should utilize the Internet and research the 1917 Fatima appearance of the Blessed Virgin. It is a wonderful, faith inspiring event. It is also a sad account as God’s children were disbelieved. Adults don’t realize that God (the Spirit) speaks mightily through children (Matthew 19:14).
It would be unfair and unwise for me to review the entire Fatima account. It began on May 13, 1917 and climaxed on October 13, 1917. The three children along with hundreds of thousands witnessed the Sun come out of rainy clouds, continuously change colors, and dance (in the sky). (more…)

There has been a lot of books written about angels, telling the reader what they are , where they come from and how they come to the assistance of human beings but none of the authors of those books have actually asked or answered the question do they exist at all.
Should we accept their existence with blind faith or should we in today’s cynical world stop and look at the possibility that the ‘angels‘ which have been reported to have wrought such deeds and acts of help are nothing more than figments of a simple person’s interpretation of a circumstance which is beyond their comprehension?
Many of us have been made aware of the ‘existence’ of the mighty angels that, we have been told, hover around the throne of God and also of the fate of one fallen angel, who tradition has it became the Devil and rules in the nether regions. Miracles exist in part as God’s gifts and in part as God’s clues. Gifts and clues that there is something beyond this world we see.
Angels exist as eternal servants to God and Christ (Psalm 103:20). These holy angels surround the throne of God and are involved at God’s bidding in the affairs of men.
“We believe that angels exist as the ministering agents of God, while Satan and his demons exist to hinder and corrupt the work of God on this earth.” (Hebrews. 1:13, 14; 2 Corinthians. 4:3, 4.)
All changes are miracles to contemplate and there are miracles taking place every second. For the truly faithful, no miracle is really necessary, and people who doubt, no miracle is sufficient.
Long before Christianity there were miracles and angels. Do not only believe in miracles, and out of life’s difficulties grow miracles; depend on miracles and believe in angels. (more…)
