In Bible Vs Quran, Jehovah and His Evil Angels
In the Bible, Psalm 78:49 (King James Version) says:
Jehovah, the Lord God cast upon the Egyptians:
1) the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and
2) indignation, and
3) trouble,
By sending Evil Angels among them
As regards “By sending Evil Angels among them”, the original Hebrew verse says:
מִ֝שְׁלַ֗חַת (army) רָעִֽים׃ (Evil or bad) מַלְאֲכֵ֥י (Angels)
These three words mean “Army of Evil Angels“
Before seeing how 20 different English versions of the Bible translate “Army of Evil Angels“; one should ask: are there Evil Angels?

Angels are generally most closely associated with Christianity, despite their origins in much earlier belief systems and cultures. Nevertheless, the angel has been important to the Christian faith since its conception, and there are almost 300 references to angels in the Bible in some 280 different verses, making it very much a feature of the religion.
While the exact nature and status of the angel in Christianity is far from settled, it is appreciated as a critical part of the Bible and the Christian faith. Likewise, angels are present in most other religions and play a part in somewhat more diverse faiths and individual beliefs. (more…)
